Who it is for

Purchase Order Finance is for Namibian MSMEs and start-ups that have won the work but need capital to deliver it.

• You hold a purchase order or supply contract from central government, a regional or town council, a state-owned enterprise or a reputable private company
• You are a registered close corporation, private company or trust
• You need funds to buy materials or pay for transport and labour before you are paid
• You are willing to cede the project payments to Bellatrix for the life of the facility

How it works

1. ApplySubmit your application with the purchase order or contract and your suppliers’ quotations.
2. Cession agreementYou, Bellatrix and the off-taker sign a cession agreement so that project payments are made into Bellatrix’s bank account.
3. Facility agreementYou sign a contract with Bellatrix acknowledging the loan facility.
4. Suppliers are paidBellatrix pays your suppliers directly, on the quotations submitted, so materials and goods are delivered for the project.
5. You deliver, the off-taker paysYou complete the supply or project. The off-taker pays progress payments or project proceeds to Bellatrix.
6. SettlementBellatrix deducts the principal and interest and pays the net amount to you.

Documents you need

Have these ready before you start. Bellatrix will confirm the final list for your application.

Your facility

• The purchase order or supply contract
• Supplier quotations for the materials, transport and labour to be funded
• A completed Bellatrix application form (online or the downloadable form)

Your business

• Entity registration documents for a close corporation, private company or trust
• Good standing certificates from NAMRA and the Social Security Commission
• MSME certificate

KYC for each member, shareholder or director

• Namibian ID or valid passport for each member, shareholder, director, sole proprietor, trustee, beneficiary and authorised signatory (police stamp not older than 3 months)
• Latest proof of residence for each of the above (municipal bill, lease agreement or police declaration)
• For non-Namibian residents: foreign ID or passport, or permanent residence permit, plus proof of residence
• If married or divorced: marriage certificate, spouse’s ID or antenuptial contract, or divorce decree
• Proof of business address (municipal bill or lease agreement)
• Proof of bank account (bank confirmation letter)
• 6 months’ bank statements for the business (existing businesses only)
• 6 months’ personal bank statements for each member, shareholder, sole proprietor, trustee or beneficiary
• Balance sheet of assets and liabilities for each member, shareholder, sole proprietor, trustee or beneficiary (template provided)
